In 1987, Doug surprised his circle of family and friends by leaving his successful real estate career, purchasing a pecan bagger and starting McClain’s Georgia Pecan.  He drove to the oldest pecan sheller in Harlem Georgia, picked up his first batch of nuts to sell and never looked back.  Now more than 20 years later, McClain’s Old Florida Gourmet has over 450 products and a reputation for quality and customer service.  We choose the freshest products in season and purchase from the best.

Last year we gave our Fort Myers retail store and web store a facelift.  We continue to add new and exciting gourmet products to our current best tasting and selling lines.  This year we added a whole new line of Old Florida Treats by McClain’s with 26 flavors of taffy and 20 different candy treats to satisfy the sweetest of teeth. 

Our most exciting change is the packaging of our #1 selling product – McClain’s Vidalia® Onion Honey Mustard Sauce.  We have added the gourmet to our signature sauce without changing the taste, size or price.  A must have for every kitchen.
